The latest hook to get me to shop is the Nordstrom call to receive $50 off my next purchase if I meet with a personal shopper. This seems very dangerous! I did just get my statement and Christmas has had a huge impact on that statement! I rescheduled and will use some cash. I need bras as 2 combusted on me. A sort of pun. Not my usual thing but lets just say they let me down. That one was bad. OK I will stop.
About Weight Watchers. You get your daily points and a sort of bank for when you go over. You can use a little every day or save them for altercations with pie. The hard part is that you need to know exactly how much you eat. So planning is the key. Measuring is huge. I really still need a food scale. Like last night I made chicken but something went wrong and it was not edible so in a bit of hunger frustration and panic I dove into a bag of Doritos's. I decided to try and track them. Well they are on the list but I have not clue how many I ate. I counted it as 20 which was 9 points. So a 9 point Doritos dinner something punishable by death on Jenny is OK I think??? It is done and I had no alcohol so I think all is well. Now Weight Watchers does give way too many points for booze. I think we need to lobby against it, it is discrimination to the catholic dieter. I have not had a glass of wine or anything since the game last week. That helps the dieting efforts a lot. For the record Patron with a float of Skinny Girl Margarita is GREAT. Little lime and it is perfection.!
Christmas weight is off. I am one my way to new weight territory and I have a renewed motivation. I just need to get to the grocery store and plan and cook. Thanks Terry for the recipes!! I want to try the shrimp pasta Sunday dinner!
High fiber pasta cooked and drained.

1 laughing cow cheese wedge
Warm spinach salad

chopped hard boiled egg
cooked crubled turkey bacon

warm the salad dressin in a small dish to boiling and pour over salad
The salad dressing I use is nonfat Balsamic dressing from TJ's.
Tuna salad
Canned white in water tuna
chopped celery
dill
chopped bread and butter pickles
chopped walnuts
a little dijon or aioli
lemon
sea salt and pepper
nonfat greek yogurt
do the same as above but omit the tuna, dill and pickles and add canned chicken and sliced grapes for chicken salad
In a large saute pan I place a small amount of chopped bacon or turkey bacon and saute (it is for flavor), add a pint of cherry tomatoes, sliced zucchini, chopped garlic, red pepper flakes and chicken broth or stock cook till tomatoes have all burst and reduce. Then add some, TJ's Roasted Red Pepper spread, frozen shrimp and add a bit more broth, salt/pepper and fresh basil. Cook until shrimp is done. You want it to be liquidy because this is your sauce but you want it to stand up to the pasta. Toss all together in a bowl add some fresh parm over the top.
I would make this for the President if he came to dinner, it is that good!
There is no oil, the shrimp is low in calories and high in protein, lots of fiber in the spaghetti, but keep your serving to 2oz. Tons of flavor! It is so good! .
Hey! Thanks for the mention! They are just ideas and you add your own to them. I am proud of you! Xoxo Terry
